The European Commission announced the 100 EU cities that will participate in the EU Mission for 100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030, the so-called Cities Mission. Developed as part of the URBiNAT project, SuperBARRIO is a video game that boosts participatory design processes. Designed as an open source video game for smartphones and tablets, it is a digital tool for architects and public entities to engage the citizens in the design of public space, to educate in sustainability and inclusiveness, and to collect data about the citizen’s needs, desires and proposals.
